"After being in the whitewater river industry for more than 10 years and with a lifetime of experience on rivers, I conclude that inflatable kayaking is the safest, easiest and most fun activity on the Provo River for groups who are age 12 and over. We suggest inflatable kayaks for almost anyone on the Provo River." ~ Donny Hazard, Pro Rafting Tours Founder.

If you have small children, we suggest a guided rafting trip. Our inflatable kayaks are super stable and an absolute blast to paddle. They sit low in the water and are easy to maneuver with a kayak paddle.

Although the Provo River is an easy Class I-II float trip, many people end up hitting rocks, swimming and flipping at the bridge while kayaking in a one-person or tandem (two-person) kayak. Many people lose gear and pay for it.

Guided kayaking on the Provo River is great for children 12 years & up. It is good for children 6 years and up if they are floating in a tandem kayak with an adult in the same boat supervising them. Kayaking is a great small group activity that will challenge the individual. It boosts confidence. It's fun for families, couples' dates, and corporate team-building.
