Donny Hazard oaring a raft during a Main Salmon River whitewater rafting trip in Idaho.Whitewater rafting and kayaking since he was five, Donny was born to be on the river. With over 30 years of whitewater experience, running more than 200 different domestic and international rivers, Donny is a professional whitewater expert. With his love of science and nature, Donny earned a bachelors degree in Biology from Brigham Young University Hawaii. As an avid traveler, Donny has spent multiple years in South America and speaks fluent Spanish. Donny ran 60 different rivers in multiple countries all in one year while traveling with his family. Today, Donny is a dad of two boys, a husband, and he enjoys treating his family to incredible adventures, just like his own dad used to do and still does. What Donny cares about most as a professional is providing super-impressive, life-changing experiences for his guests. He works hard to try to make that happen for everyone who joins him on a river adventure. Donny is frequently asked to list rivers and adventures he has done and to name his favorite places. We've decided to add an abbreviated list of many adventures he has completed. Be sure to ask him to tell stories about his adventures. When asked about his favorite, he says, "It's hard to choose a favorite river or favorite place. It would be similar to being asked to choose a favorite child. They are all unique and special. I love them all." But, with "inside information", we know he loves South American rivers and the Main Salmon River very much. CLICK HERE to see some of Donny's adventures with photos.
