The Adventure Starts Now

Once on the river, scenery immediately becomes amazing. For the entire trip, we are awed by the beauty of the Salmon River Canyon heavily forested with tall pines. Throughout summer, the canyon is covered with colorful wildflowers. We may see a herd of bighorn sheep scaling a steep canyon wall, a giant elk or moose wading near shore, black bears foraging by the river or a family of otters playing in a swimming hole.

A day on the river includes an energizing sunrise wake-up and time to enjoy nature's beauty on a white sandy river-side beach followed by a hearty three-course breakfast. After our staff packs our boats, you will be thrilled by a few hours of exciting rapids.

We stop mid-day for great hikes, visits to Native American rockart, historical sites and natural hot springs. We linger during picnic lunches on sandy beaches in the shade. After a satisfying lunch, we board the boats again for more exciting whitewater and fun wave trains. Go ahead and try out the variety of watercraft we have on-hand.

Mid-to late afternoon, we get off the river for the day. You are free to relax, unwind, join an activity and enjoy refreshments. Our guides will set up camp and have your accommodations ready fast. Your bags containing your personal items will be available for you to take to your tents.

Our chef and staff will lovingly prepare dinner and arrange all of the details for our lovely fire-side dining experience. We take pride in the details to offer you an outstanding luxury camping experience with attention given to the small things that make it extra-special.

After a satisfying gourmet dinner, the evening is yours to spend on activities such as listening to live music, taking a professional instructional class, playing, resting, exploring the canyon on a side excursion. You are free do do what you like. Our mission is to allow time for your river vacation to become what you want it to be.

Days on the river are packed-full with rafting, kayaking, group activities, excitement and individual personal growth, so we might become quite tired in the evenings. Quiet-hours begin at an appropriate hour as we all drift off to well-earned quality sleep while the sounds of the river and the brilliance of the big, star-filled sky will encourage quiet reflection, silent amazement and personal gratitude for the amazing wilderness that God has given us and is, for that night, our "Home."
