Vacations, Retreats and Trips:

During Pro Rafting Tours multi-day river vacations and retreats, we provide all-inclusive camping and sleeping accommodations, meals and rafting and expedition gear. The only things you need to bring are your personal items and your excitement for fun and adventure. We provide additional comforts such as extra sleeping pads and single-person private tents, available with additional fees.

Our river rafting and kayaking trips are active participation trips. Our Provo River, Kern River and Main Salmon River day trips and vacations are suitable for reasonably fit beginners and for those who know river rafting and kayaking.  It is your responsibility to understand what physical activities are involved in your trip and consent that you are physically capable to go through the entire trip with no issues. If you have any medical conditions that might impact your ability to safely participate, visit your doctor for a medical evaluation before you book a trip.

We love to celebrate special occasions to make our guests feel right at home while on a river vacation. Please let us know if you or other people in your group will have a birthday or other special celebration around the time of your trip. We like to offer special services for celebrations. We need to know early to plan. We also need to know early about any dietary requirements we should accommodate for you during your trip.

Payments, Cancellations and Refunds:

All pricing and financial transactions are in United States dollars. Please understand that our trip dates and capacities are limited by the managing agencies and when we accept your deposit as your decision to book a trip, we may be announcing that the trip is closed, close to capacity or full and we will be turning away others to book that same trip.  Because this is the case, deposits are not refundable. If you find it necessary to cancel your trip, please notify us as early as possible and we will handle cancellations on a case-by-case basis. You can call us, but we also need a written, dated and signed notice. Cancellation penalties might range up to 100% of the trip cost, depending on the date of cancellation and specific trip that you have booked. We cannot make exceptions for personal emergencies. For this reason, we recommend that you purchase a travel protection plan to cover any possible losses. If you have any questions about the details of our cancellation policy, please contact one of our Special Retreat Hosts or trip booking representatives. If you cannot make a specific trip for which you originally planned, you may transfer from one trip to another during the same year for an administrative fee. Transfers on multi-day trips that are requested after full payment is due will be treated as complete cancellations.

Physical and Medical Conditions:

Weight and size restrictions may apply, depending on the number of people in a group or the time of year when water may be high with greater possibility of capsizing and swimming. More physically difficult trips require greater levels of physical fitness. People with medical conditions should have their doctors' approval before booking a river trip. We accommodate people with physical and mental differences, challenges and disabilities with an advance discussion about how we can accommodate all special safety and comfort requirements.

The trip leader and river guide has the right to disqualify and remove a guest at any time during any trip. This includes pre-trip meetings. Reasons for disqualification and/or removal include: The guest is demonstrating physical or mental issues that make him or her incapable of participation without others' active involvement or assistance, or a if a guest continuing on a trip will jeopardize the safety of him or herself or the safety and enjoyment of the group. We do not tolerate disrespectful, belligerent or hostile behavior. Any such actions will be considered as a guest's understanding that he or she will be removed for such behavior. Refunds are not available under these circumstances.

Travel Protection:

Although we work to ensure safe river trips for all of our guests, we recommend that you protect yourself, your belongings, and your vacation by purchasing a short-term traveler's insurance policy. A travel protection plan may cover lost luggage and personal belongings and non-refundable payments for trip cancellations resulting from pre-existing medical reasons. Check details with your provider. Baggage, cameras and other fragile items and electronics are brought on river trips at the owner’s risk and the owner's complete understanding that Pro Rafting Tours is not responsible for them. We accept no responsibility for any lost, damaged or delayed property.

Trip Forms:

All participants must complete all pre-trip forms and sign our standard liability release waiver or assumption of risk before the trip. This form also states that guests understand and acknowledge and accept risks associated with river trips and expedition travel.
